Privacy Policy
Last updated October 26, 2026.
This page describes the free background remover as it is built: a static website with no accounts, no image database, and no server-side image processing. It is written in plain language. It is not a promise that third parties, such as your network provider, are unable to see that you visited the site.
Images you select
When you choose a photo, the browser decodes it locally. The ISNet model runs in a worker on your device, and the transparent PNG is built on a canvas in your browser. The image pixels are not included in a request to our server, because there is no upload endpoint. We do not write your photo to a database. The app does not put the photo into the Cache API or IndexedDB.
The photo remains in the page’s memory until you leave or replace it. Downloading the PNG saves it wherever your browser normally saves files. Clearing the tab drops the in-memory copy.
The model download
The segmentation weights are the public Apache-2.0 ISNet int8 files (isnet-w8.part00, isnet-w8.part01, and isnet-w8.part02). They are fetched from the base URL configured at build time as PUBLIC_MODEL_BASE_URL. In production that host is a public Cloudflare R2 bucket or a custom domain in front of it. That request contains the usual connection data (including your IP address) because your browser is downloading a file. It does not contain your image.
After a successful checksum, the parts are stored in the browser Cache API and in IndexedDB under a key derived from the model version and checksum. That cache exists so the next visit does not download about 45 MB again. You can remove it by clearing site data for this origin.
What we do not collect in the app
- No account, name, or email is required to use the tool.
- The site does not run advertising or analytics scripts.
- The application code does not set cookies.
- There is no payment provider.
Hosting logs
The HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ONNX Runtime files are static assets on Cloudflare Pages. The model files are objects on Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare processes those requests as the host. Their systems may log IP address, user agent, and the URL of the asset for security and operations. Those logs are not an upload of your photo. Cloudflare’s own privacy notice describes how they handle that operational data.
Contact mail
If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that message, including the address you send from. Don’t attach sensitive photos. We use the message only to reply. The contact address is easytoreach365@gmail.com.
Children
The site is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children, and it does not ask for anyone’s age or identity.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with the text. Continued use of the static site after an update means you are using the version then published.
